Okay so my school is having elections. I want to be Treasurer. I have the experience I'm just not sure if I can handle the whole pressure of elections. The mudslinging, the accusing commercials, the scandals. I can't take it. I had 2 bad experiences with elections in the past.
The first was in 8th Grade. I wanted to be Student Council President. It was between me and two others who we will call Jeff and Hilary. Hilary never had a chance, she was too crazy. But Jeff and I each had a fair shot. I figure we were about neck and neck even though my posters were better, but then came the final blow. It was the day of the election and I thought my wonderful spirit was enough to win me the election. But noooooo, Jeff brought candy and gave it to everyone who could vote. People came up to me and asked where my candy was. I said I didn't bring any, and they just shrugged and walked off. Needless to say, Jeff won the election. That was when I knew politics were tainted and bribes reigned supreme. How was I supposed to know candy could make you a winner. But that lesson has never left me. Especially as now, even at law school, you can't really get students to stop by your table even if you have something valuable for them, if you don't have candy.
Oh yeah, I did say I had a second election experience. In my junior year of high school we had to run in groups, like President, VP, Secretary & Treasurer. Suffice it to say I was in one group, that randomly disbanded halfway through campaigning and I joined another. Well we won, but for the whole year I never really knew if I was the Secretary or the Treasurer. I'm pretty sure it didn't matter.
But if you know who I am, vote for me for Treasurer, I do have experience (and no I'm not talking about in high school).

Shopping List
The top 5 reasons I hate shopping...
5. People in the express lane not expressing it. Talking on the phone, not paying attention, holding up the line. Hello we are in a rush.
4. People who can't drive shopping carts and crash into you.
3. People who let their kids run wild in the stores and run into you, block your way, scream, or drive carts when they are 5 and can't see.
2. People, in the parking lot, backing up, not looking behind them, but looking at the plate of food they are eating while driving in reverse, and then almost hit an old woman, while never noticing anything.
And the top reason I hate going shopping....
1. Cause I'm lazy and I hate going anywhere.
