Air Force One

So I was watching Air Force One this weekend and in 2 scenes these guys gave their lives for the President. One a pilot flew his plane in front of the missile so it would blow him up not the President's plane. And another guy jumped in front of the bullet to save the President, he wasn't even Secret Service. Could you do that? Granted I didn't sign up for that type of job but I didn't realize it was the Secretary of whatever's duty to do that. You have to be super devoted. Plus what if you are in the Secret Service assigned to protect Bush and you are a Democrat. You gotta really love the guy or be super dedicated. I realized I will never be a secret service agent.
