New Year's Resolution

A new year, time for new movies. I was going to go see a bunch of movies last year, but somehow it just didn't work out. My new year's resolution is to actually see the movies I want to see, even if I have to go by myself. Who am I kidding I can't go to the movies alone. I'm not emotionally ready for that.

I know I don't want to see Freedom Writers the movie with Hilary Swank as a teacher educating the poor students in urban schools. I am so sick of movies were some white teacher comes in to save the poor minority students from themselves and changing their lives forever. Upchuck. This is just like Dangerous Minds with Michelle Pfeiffer except without a hit song (Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio). As soon as I saw the preview I put it on my no watch list. How come there are no minority teachers saving students. (Yeah there is Stand and Deliver, but that doesn't count) All there is, is 187 with Samuel L. Jackson, and he definitely wasn't saving students. He was too busy killing people.

I kinda want to see Alpha Dog, the Justin Timberlake movie. I didn't want to see it at first but the DMX song in the trailer tricks you. You keep hearing the song, soon you know the words, then you wanna see the movie. But I was saved. I found out that the movie is based on the true story of Jesse James Hollywood and luckily for me I saw one of those tv show thingys about him. Ha now I've saved 8 bucks and don't have to subject myself to seeing JT's skinny white ass acting.

Speaking of skinny white asses, I was on Pink is the New Blog, (love that site) and there was a post about the guy who played Jonathan on Who's the Boss, posting a sex ad online where he shows his junk. Awkward! (if you wanna see the pic you nasty freaks go to Pink and go to the post for Friday January 5, 2007 and click Jonathan a.k.a Danny Pintauro's picture. Be warned. Don't open in front of your grandma.) Update: Due to so many requests I added a direct link. (Ok no requests, but I did it anyway) Warning: You must be 18 or older to click the following 2 links. And they are NSFW: not safe for work. Gross me out 1, Gross me out 2

Oh and I gotta see Children of Men. Looks awesome except the preview says "the BladeRunner for this generation." Too bad I don't know what Bladerunner is.
